Job Description
Join our dynamic engineering team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge electronics systems in the automotive sector. As a System Engineer, you will be at the forefront of defining product concepts, specifying system requirements, and ensuring technical excellence throughout the development process. Collaborate with international customers and cross-functional teams to shape the future of mobility through innovation, quality, and structured engineering practices.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Defining and developing electronic product concepts and translating them into system-level specifications
- Evaluating customer requirements in the context of overall product and system behavior
- Conducting technical discussions with customers and deriving system requirements from legal, normative, and customer needs
- Designing system architectures, including their static, dynamic, functional, and physical aspects
- Creating development documentation in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
- Supporting safety analysis processes such as FMEA and FTA
- Identifying technical risks and weaknesses in products and contributing to effective solutions
- Improving engineering processes, methodologies, tools, and templates
- Contributing to cost estimation, project planning, and patent or intellectual property analysis
Qualifications and Experience
What do we expect from you?
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a comparable field
- Experience in system and requirements engineering, ideally in the automotive sector
- Basic knowledge of embedded hardware and software development (C/C++)
- Understanding of system modeling languages such as SysML or UML
- Basic knowledge of testing, measurement, and circuit technologies for electronic systems
- Experience with power electronic systems and gateway systems is an advantage
- Initial experience with requirements engineering tools such as PTC Integrity, DOORS, or Enterprise Architect is a plus
- Knowledge of automotive bus systems and vehicle diagnostics (e.g. CAN, LIN, FlexRay, UTP Ethernet) is welcomed
- First exposure to functional safety standards (e.g. ISO 26262) is an advantage
- Understanding of structured development models (V-model, ASPICE) and analytical thinking skills
- Fluency in English (minimum B2); German language skills are an advantage

Basic gross guaranteed salary: from 2000 EUR/Brutto +13th salary The final basic wage component will be adjusted to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.
