Job Description

Join LEONI’s global operations and manufacturing network and take a key role in shaping our CAPEX and production asset strategy.

As a CAPEX & Production Equipment Management Expert, you will work closely with countries, plants and senior management to ensure effective investment planning, optimal utilization of production assets and transparency across the entire asset lifecycle.

You will contribute to strategic decision-making, drive standardization and support continuous improvement in a complex international manufacturing environment.

What will be your responsibilities? 

• Lead global CAPEX planning activities in cooperation with countries, plants and site management to achieve defined objectives and KPIs
• Manage the WSD Key Performance Indicator “K13 Absolute Investment” and ensure transparency of investments
• Manage CAPEX equipment demand within the defined perimeter (demand analysis, evaluation and decision-making)
• Coordinate and supervise regular asset reviews with countries and plants to ensure optimal utilization of existing equipment
• Coordinate and supervise transfers of used production equipment between sending and receiving plants
• Define, maintain and continuously improve communication, documentation and working tools related to CP3.1.3.6 “Manage Production Asset Capacity”
• Manage reporting and analyses related to CAPEX budget development, CAPEX status, cash-out and asset transfers
• Collaborate closely with CxO areas on all topics related to CAPEX and production equipment management
• Support and ensure functional development of the CAPEX & Fixed Assets teams in countries and plants
• Support the Head of Production Equipment Management with analyses, evaluations and implementation of decisions

Qualifications and Experience

What do we expect from you?

• Education in Engineering, Industrial Management, Economics or a comparable technical or business field
• Experience in CAPEX planning, production equipment management, manufacturing engineering or a similar role
• Strong understanding of production assets, investment planning and asset lifecycle management in an industrial environment
• Experience working with KPIs, budget planning, reporting and analytical decision-making
• Ability to work effectively with international stakeholders across plants, countries and central functions
• Strong analytical, structured and solution-oriented mindset
• Confident communication skills and the ability to present analyses and recommendations to management
• Very good English skills (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage

Basic gross guaranteed salary: from 2300 EUR/Brutto + 13th salary. The final basic wage component will be adjusted to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.
