Job Description
Join LEONI’s quality team and become the key link between our production sites and the customer. As a Customer Quality Resident, you will act as the first point of contact for our OEM customer, supporting daily communication, solving quality issues, and ensuring smooth cooperation across departments.
You will play an active role in managing customer expectations, participating in quality meetings and audits, and coordinating all quality-related actions directly at the customer’s location.
Your work will directly contribute to improving customer satisfaction, resolving escalations, and supporting LEONI’s reputation as a reliable partner in the automotive industry.
What will be your responsibilities?
- Acting as the first contact for customers and production sites in case of quality problems and escalations
- Maintaining internal and external customer portals to ensure accurate and timely communication
- Supporting the deployment of LEONI’s quality strategy based on customer-specific requirements
- Participating in quality meetings with the customer / production plants and supporting during process audits and PPAs (Production Process and Product Approvals)
- Assisting in problem-solving processes and follow-up of containment and rework actions at customer sites
- Organizing and coordinating rework activities and ensuring proper documentation
- Supporting the Supply Chain team in resolving logistics-related complaints (e.g. transport, packaging, sequencing changes) and proposing corrective solutions
- Supporting technical and model year changes, including coordination of sampling processes with OEM customers
- Supporting by 8D reports for customer complaints, including root-cause analysis and corrective actions, and maintaining complaint records in internal systems (e.g. Omnitracker)
- Managing the ordering of material needed for customer repairs and internal stock
Qualifications and Experience
What do we expect from you?
- Education in engineering, quality or a comparable technical field
- Experience in quality management, ideally in the automotive industry or a related field
- Understanding of quality standards, customer-specific requirements, and complaint handling processes
- Knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, FMEA, control plans, and problem-solving methods
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional tasks
- Structured and proactive approach with a focus on solutions
- Fluent spoken and written English

Basic gross guaranteed salary: from 2000 EUR/Brutto +13th salary The final basic wage component will be adjusted to individual skills and experience of selected candidate.
